Manday: The Transition

Happy Monday everyone! We hope you had a chance to enjoy the wonderful weekend. We’ve been so busy with school and work lately that time is just flying by. It feels like just yesterday that it was Friday. Where did the weekend go? Luckily we had pretty nice weekend weather wise and it looks like it’s going to be somewhat warm this week too. Which means we are definitely going to take advantage of this and wear as many spring outfits as we can. Even though we’ll still have to layer up we’ll be able to wear some lighter pieces and we’ll finally be able to put our winter parkas away… well for the next few days at least.

While our seasons are in a constant state of confusion its important to layer, and to find those transition pieces. For Manday today we put together a simple outfit that entails both winter and spring elements. You’ll be able to wear this through the awkward weather phase. We paired a chambray dark denim shirt with a pair of chinos – two classic pieces that are a wardrobe staple. We added a sweater in for layering purposes. We finished off the look with a varsity jacket and a classic black boot. We wanted to mix together classic pieces that you probably already have in your closet, and show you how you can wear them into spring.
